New Century Saxophone Quartet

They have been heard in major concert halls, on NPR and even at the White House in command performances for sax-loving former president Bill Clinton.  Winning new fans for the serious saxophone quartet, New Century plays music from Baroque to innovative contemporary to imaginative transcriptions. “Polish and vitality distinguish this group,” writes the Los Angeles Times. “Tackling new territory in the conservative-leaning realm of classical music tradition takes a unique blend of conviction, refined talent and damn-the-torpedoes ambition… They made believers here.”
