We eagerly anticipate the start of our 2015-2016 season in magnificent fashion with the classic elegance of a premier chamber ensemble. The Academy of St. Martin in the Fields is famed for its wide-ranging studio work, sold-out concerts, and soundtracks for such Hollywood films as “Amadeus” and “The English Patient.” The 50-year-old group has released more than 500 recordings, including a dozen gold discs. The Ensemble is made up the orchestra’s principal players who play in various configurations including winds. We’re in for an evening of impeccable musicianship and sheer delight!
